No, the frame is not included. If you don’t want to pay for custom framing, the poster will fit in standard frames (27 inches x 40 inches, 20 inches x 28 inches) which you can easily find at your local craft store or online. 

Posters do tend to curl up on their own after removing them from the tube. If you’re framing the poster, there is no need to uncurl it. It’ll be flattened by the frame. In the event you’re not framing the poster, you can curl it in the opposite direction, fasten the two ends with rubber bands and let it sit for a couple of hours. Do not let it sit too long, otherwise you will have to repeat the process in the opposite direction. Alternatively, you could lay the poster flat on a table and place heavy books on each end, letting it settle over a day or two.

All of our posters are packaged according to the highest professional standards: 

  • We use heavy-duty shipping tubes with plastic end-caps that are double-secured with shipping tape 
  • The tubes are wide enough so that the poster does not need to be tightly rolled, preventing any crease marks 
  • The tubes are long enough to provide good margins so that the poster is not traveling right up against the end caps 
  • Inside the tube, the poster itself is rolled and wrapped in shipping paper to protect it further, especially its edges 
  • And most important, the rolled poster does not “float” and bounce around inside the tube because it is not bound with tape or a rubber band or anything: we allow it to uncurl itself against the inside wall of the tube, nice and tight, so it travels snug and secure, with its edges protected against movement

Yes, we will replace the poster free of cost. Just email us a picture of the damaged poster at customercare@alfalfanewyork.com within 15 days of receiving it and we will mail out the replacement within XX business days.

After you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation at the email address you provided in your profile. After we ship your order, you will receive another email confirming shipment with a tracking number. If there are any issues with your order, we will contact you directly.

We ship worldwide. If your country is not included on our ship-to list, please email customercare@alfalfanewyork.com and tell us your country. Our goal is to ship to any country in the world that has a functioning postal service. We do not take responsibility for the handling of the package in other countries.

No. For international shipments, all import fees and charges are the responsibility of the recipient. Once the shipment reaches your country, your local post office will most likely hold your order and notify you of the fee due.

Orders and Payment

Orders from Alfalfa New York can be paid for via Paypal, Google Pay/Apple Pay and all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express)

No. Your credit card will not be charged until your package has physically left our facility.

If your order has not been shipped, we can cancel your order. If it has been shipped, it will then become a “return.” Returns will receive a full refund, minus a $2.00 processing fee.

Yes! Gift certificates can be ordered in any amount. To purchase one, please email customercare@alfalfanewyork.com. The recipient you designate will receive an email from Alfalfa New York with a gift certificate code redeemable only on our website. Please be sure your recipient has a valid email address.

  • We ship via United States Postal Service (USPS) from New York 
  • We ship 1 to 2 business days after you place your order
  • Shipments are sent out Monday through Friday
  • We do not ship on weekends
  • Shipping costs are based on your total order amount

Delivery Times

  • For domestic orders by USPS Priority Mail®, delivery takes 1–3 days, depending on your location and the time of the year 
  • For international orders by USPS First-Class Mail®, delivery takes 2 to 4 weeks, depending on your country and local postal service
  • Delivery during the holiday season may take longer

P.O. Box and APO/FPO Military Delivery

Most Alfalfa New York shipments can be delivered to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO military destinations. If your order cannot, we will ask you to provide an alternate shipping address.

Shipping Confirmation

When your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with shipping details. Customers will also be notified by email if there is any delay in shipping.

Returns

How do I return an item?

You can return an item for a full refund within 15 days of receipt as long as it is in resalable condition. Simply email us at customercare@alfalfanewyork.com with your order number to initiate the return. 

Once you receive confirmation that your return is processed, please be sure to include your name, address, email and order number with your package. 

The return shipping is the responsibility of the customer, and we are not responsible for items lost or damaged when returned.
